I’m Laila Khalil, a proud Palestinian from Beit Anan, raised in New Jersey, and now rooted in Chicago for nearly a decade. As a mother of three young daughters, I strive to instill in them a deep connection to their heritage, the strength of their ancestors, and the power of their own voices.
With a Master’s in Higher Education Leadership and a certificate in Nonprofit Management, my work has always centered around education and advocacy. For the past ten years, I’ve been dedicated to supporting marginalized communities, working with refugee girls and underserved populations to create access to education and leadership opportunities.
My passion for Palestinian identity and heritage has shaped me from a young age—always eager to hear my grandparents’ stories, always searching for ways to preserve and share them. That passion led me to create Siti’s Stories, a platform not just for storytelling, but for building community, fostering mentorship, and creating meaningful impact.
Beyond the podcast, I’m also the founder of a nonprofit consulting firm, focused on empowering mission-driven organizations.
Through Siti’s Stories and beyond, my goal is simple: to amplify voices, honor legacies, and turn stories into action.
