Laila is a proud Palestinian from Beit Anan, raised in New Jersey and rooted in Chicago for nearly a decade. As a mother of three daughters, she is committed to passing down a love of heritage, the strength of her ancestors, and the importance of using one’s voice.

With a Master’s in Higher Education Leadership and a certificate in Nonprofit Management, Laila has spent the last ten years working in education and advocacy. She has supported marginalized communities, especially refugee girls and underserved youth, by creating access to education and leadership opportunities.

Her passion for Palestinian identity began in childhood through the stories of her grandparents. This commitment to preserving and sharing heritage inspired her to create Siti’s Stories, a platform for storytelling, community building, and meaningful cultural impact.

Laila also runs a nonprofit consulting firm dedicated to supporting mission driven organizations. Across all her work, her goal is to amplify voices, honor legacies, and transform stories into action.
