Lina is a Palestinian Panamanian in the diaspora who fell in love with tatreez in 2019. What started as a personal journey—embroidering her own Palestinian thobe from scratch—soon became Lina’s Thobe, a platform dedicated to preserving and sharing this timeless art form.
Through her work, Lina helps fellow Palestinians in the diaspora reconnect with their heritage and invites allies to experience the magic of tatreez. She believes that every stitch tells a story, and when you tap into tatreez, you tap into Palestine itself.
